| Ms. Baker’s previous telemedicine coordination at CHLA and participation in the Blue Cross of California Telemedicine Program was key in her selection. Ms Baker will undertake the following responsibilities for the VPICU:
network site coordination of remote sites for inclusion in the initial demonstration telemedicine project,
selection and purchase of equipment,
ensuring successful installation of equipment at all sites,
training personnel and practitioners on use of the equipment and peripherals,
development of research protocols including survey tools and outcome criteria,
assist with data collection and integration,
review programs,
market and publish program results,
and seek future funding streams.
